Painting reality

lyrics

PAINTING REALITY
As a realism artist I take a look around, I depict myself, I have a different look.
All that surrounds, means nothing to me, it's just an illusion, a broken trap.
Stripped from it's essence, reality isn't so bad, it's the image of myself.
The color I lay, day after day, improves my work.
As a realism painter I look into my eyes the light appears, and I can feel it alive.
What I lost, isn't worth anything.
Now I can see the truth it's not so bad, it's the image of myself.
The color I lay, dries and ages, it became empty, empty like me.
I'm painting reality.
